Autobiography
At an early age I loved listening to music. I would listen to various genres from the radio and I started to collect compact discs. By the age of 14 years old, I owned many Rock, Pop, Alternative, Dance, New Age, Easy Listening, Christian and Orchestral (Especially Movie Soundtracks) music discs. I wore band T-shirts, pinned up posters, and collected stickers of bands. I played the piano by ear, sang worship songs, and started in a acoustic nylon-guitar class in middle school. I think the main reason I chose the acoustic guitar to learn was because I loved the sound of it in worship songs at church, church camp and everyone singing along. I loved worship music about Jesus. I still do.I think my first song was written when I was in the High School years, although I did create parts of songs on the piano earlier than that. I continued playing the guitar on my own and started singing more frequently. I recorded my music using computer software, instruments, a beginner microphone, and/or wrote Lyrics and guitar tablature. I wanted to become a composer of orchestral music for movie soundtracks. I added keyboard orchestral instrument sounds to my songs. Also, adding synth and vocal sounds to fill up the compositions.
In college, I performed songs in classes where it was allowed and also appropriate. For example, I wrote songs about places on the Earth in Geography classes, performed on campus, and in a music class. I wrote a lot of songs outside of school and performed them at many coffee places.
Over the years I wrote around 700 songs and reached out to around ½ Million people through advertising worldwide. The 700 songs include 350 with lyrics and 350 instrumental songs. A lot of the instrumentals were created with a music workstation (keyboard with sequencing and quantizing capabilities). I think the reasons that I wrote/write songs was/is to improve in songwriting, listen to what I created, express myself, and/or thank people who inspired me, make songs people enjoy, and sometimes it is fun too. I hope you enjoy the music and thanks for visiting.
